Piotr Zielinski praised Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as “a great Coach” and hopes to play with Arkadiusz Milik for Poland too.
The midfielder had already worked with Sarri before at Empoli, so was able to start playing right away following this summer’s transfer.
“I am happy at Napoli and settled in immediately,” Zielinski told local media while on international duty.
“We have great staff and many games to play, so that is why the Coach rotates the squad. Sarri is a great Coach with wonderful ideas.

“There is also competition for places in the Poland squad, but that’s a good thing, as it means everyone can contribute something to the cause.
“I get on well with Milik and always know where to find him and when I have to release the pass. I hope the good understanding we’ve developed at Napoli can also be replicated here in Poland.”
