Totti and Maradona in charity match

Francesco Totti, Diego Armando Maradona, Ronaldinho, Hernan Crespo and Gianluca Zambrotta will take part in a charity match in Rome.

The game, United for Peace, will be at the Stadio Olimpico on October 12 and transmitted live on Rai 1.

It will raise funds and awareness for educational and social initiatives to integrate children fleeing from war.

This will be a great opportunity to see legendary Number 10s Totti and Maradona face off on the football field.

Others involved include Antonio Di Natale, Fabio Capello, Roberto Carlos and Rodrigo Taddei.

During the inauguration ceremony in the Vatican before the match, Pope Francis will bless the event and give all the players an olive branch to later plant near the Stadio Olimpico as a sign of peace.
