Montreal Impact star Didier Drogba is one of the candidates to join Napoli in January as a replacement for Arkadiusz Milik.
The Partenopei have lost their top scorer for four to six months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
There are several options, including Fiorentina’s Nikola Kalinic and Simone Zaza at West Ham.
According to Calciomercato.it, Drogba is also being considered for the January transfer window.
That period is when MLS is on its winter break, so Drogba would be available to spend several months in Serie A.
The 38-year-old Ivorian could then return to Montreal, assuming he doesn’t take part in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast.
