Crotone defender Bruno Martella says they ‘must not lose’ against Sassuolo at the weekend.

The Rossoblu sit bottom of the league and have scored just one point in the opening matches, but Martella insists that his side have been unlucky.

"We have been preparing for the match against Sassuolo for two weeks,"  the 24-year-old told the club's official website. "We have been working hard since the beginning of the season and will try to bring home the three points.

“Sassuolo? I followed them a lot last year, Di Francesco is my former Coach. They have strong players who have confirmed their quality and will pay attention to them."

"From the beginning of the season we have played our own game, and I think we did well. In the final third we have been unlucky and we have not killed off a few games that we should have done. 

“We need to learn from what has happened, we must not make mistakes in the future.

“Is it a must win game? We will go to Sassuolo to bring home the points, the important thing is not to lose in order to pull ourselves out of these difficult times.”
