Former Juventus winger Milos Krasic says Luigi Del Neri’s tactics were “perfect for me”.
His old boss prepares to take on the Bianconeri this Saturday, having been recently appointed at new side Udinese. The Serbian winger joined the Turin giants in the summer of 2010 and was quickly labelled the "New Nedved” after some eye-catching performances. After Del Neri was fired however, he struggled under new Coach Antonio Conte and soon left.
"The 4-4-2 of Del Neri was perfect for me,” Krasic told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I was comfortable, then the change of tactics under Conte hurt my chances.
“They also got top-level players: a team with [Andrea] Pirlo, [Arturo] Vidal and other top stars, maybe it was too much for me. I was lacking luck and perhaps character, I did not have the right ambition to emerge."
