As expected, Marcello Lippi is officially the new Coach of the national men’s football team in China.
The decision was announced via a statement from the Chinese Football Association today.
It is a return to Asia for the Coach, who also found success on the bench of club side Guangzhou Evergrande from 2012 to 2014.
Lippi won the 2006 World Cup with Italy and had agreed terms with Guangzhou for a return.
