Pescara fans walked away from last night’s defeat to Atalanta, as play continued after an earthquake.

Two quakes rocked central Italy last night, aftershocks of Augusts deadly earthquakes which killed almost 200 people.

Pescara is close to the epicentre of the earthquakes, and the impact could be physically felt at Stadio Adriatico.

The match was halted just after the half-hour mark because of tremors, but was eventually completed, with Atalanta taking a 1-0 win.

The match was halted just after the half-hour mark because of tremors, but was eventually completed, with Atalanta taking a 1-0 win.

However, fans from the Curva Nord walked out in protest.

“At the time we didn’t realise because we were moving about,” Delfini defender Hugo Campagnaro told Ansa.

“Then once we heard the crowd screaming and people leaving the stands we understood.”

Atalanta’s Mattia Caldara also spoke to the news agency.

“We didn’t feel anything on the pitch, but my teammates told me the bench shook.”
