Argentina Coach Edgardo Bauza assures Inter striker Mauro Icardi “could be called-up at any time”.
The Nerazzurri captain has been in fine goalscoring form for the past three seasons, but has so far earned just one cap for his country.
Since taking over from Tata Martino, Bauza has repeatedly left Icardi out and he is not in the squad to face Brazil and Paraguay.
“Icardi knows I’m following him and that he could be called-up at any time,” Bauza said on Radio Rivadavia.
“I was just watching Inter-Torino where he scored twice. The off the pitch stuff has nothing to do with it, that goes for him and anyone else.”
