Alessandro Florenzi could make a quick return to the Roma side, which his surgeon says may even be within 90 days.

The 25-year-old suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear in his side’s 3-1 victory over Sassuolo in midweek, and is due to be operated on later today.

"Nowadays, the protocol says that in 90 days a player can return and be available to the Coach,” Florenzi’s surgeon told Gazzetta dello Sport.

This would see a return in early February for the Giallorossi number 24, but this is an extremely optimistic prediction as a return from this kind of injury usually takes around six months.
