Sinisa Mihajlovic wants Torino to show a reaction against Udinese and will not be happy unless the Granata qualify for Europe.

The Serbian Coach was furious at his players’ performance in their last outing, a 2-1 defeat to Inter at San Siro, and is demanding an improvement ahead of the trip to Stadio Friuli.

“What angered me most against Inter was the loss of our mentality and spirit,” Mihajlovic told a Press conference. “In previous matches we showed that our DNA is different.

“What angered me most against Inter was the loss of our mentality and spirit,” Mihajlovic told a Press conference. “In previous matches we showed that our DNA is different.

“Against Inter we messed up our approach, I expect an immediate reaction. We cannot get two games wrong in a row. Against Udinese it will definitely be difficult.”

The former Milan and Sampdoria boss then stressed his ambitions for Toro, adding that failure to win against either Inter or Lazio should not be tolerated.

“All matches are difficult, but we need to improve our performance away from home. We need to always play in the same way.

“I didn’t come to Torino just to win every once in a while, I came to get into Europe. The points we got last month don’t matter, the fact that we only have one point from the last two matches does.

“We need to improve our mentality. Losing at San Siro and drawing with Lazio should not be a normal thing.”
