Italy Under-21s boss Luigi Di Biagio has refused to sympathise with Frank de Boer’s Inter plight as “pressure’s part of our work”.
De Boer’s position as Inter Coach is considered to be on a knife edge after Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria, but while Di Biagio “cares a lot” about his former club, he was uncomfortable passing judgment on how the Dutchman was performing.
“The difficult talk from outside doesn’t help, but pressure’s part of our job,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
