"It's different approach. The fact is that when Juventus draw it is perceived as a loss. You feel it, drawing is not enough.

The 33-year-old also compared the differing attitudes to victory and defeat in the two cities, declaring 'drawing is not enough' in Turin.

"It's different approach. The fact is that when Juventus draw it is perceived as a loss. You feel it, drawing is not enough.

"Winning helps, as every victory helps you to get the next one. It is good for you mentally, you feel stronger.

"Fans in Rome are not like this, it’s enough that you do well for a couple of games and it puts you high up in the table, but then as soon as you do something bad you begin to feel that the support for the team isn’t there.

"And that wears you down in the long run.

"In Turin you can safely walk down the street without being bothered by anyone: there are no dedicated radio stations, or at least there are not as many as in Rome.

"Juventus are stronger outside Turin. There is a different focus."

When asked about the city radio stations that are dedicated to football, the Montenegrin admitted their opinions 'put pressure' on players.

"Of course, we feel it. The radio puts pressure on us, we all feel it. I remember that sometimes between us were made jokes, such as ‘I heard that he said this, I've heard that one, but the other one says otherwise.’

"Everyone listened to it, even if it was only during training. It is inevitable.

"It doesn’t help you that Roma haven’t won the league for a long time. When we were fighting for the title, we started to feel the strain even in less important games.

"In those instances you can always feel the pressure on your neck, it bites you."
