Reuters is reporting that Milan’s proposed sale to Chinese consortium Sino-Europe Sports will be completed by early December.
According to “qualified sources”, Silvio Berlusconi had signed a preliminary agreement that valued the club at €740m, with €220m of debt factored in.
The consortium has since made a down payment of €100m, and its takeover should be announced on December 3, although there is still a chance of it happening on November 23.
Berlusconi is also expected to be offered the role of honorary President by Sino-Europe, however the 80-year-old has yet to decide whether he will stay at Milan.
