Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner could reportedly join Barcelona, freeing Aleix Vidal for Inter.

The Swiss international is out of contract at the end of the season, and has been left out of the Bianconeri squad for the Champions League.

While Juve have a unilateral option to extend his contract by a year, Gazzetta dello Sport believes he could leave in January, with Barça interested.

Lichtsteiner would be free to play in the Champions League, meaning he would be a readymade replacement for Aleix Vidal, who is expected to leave the club.

The newspaper believes that Inter are keen to sign the full-back, having also tried for Lichtsteiner in the summer.

That, in turn, could lead to Juventus making a move for Milan’s Mattia De Sciglio, who is yet to sign an extension to his contract which expires in 2018.
