Buffon is planning to hang up his gloves after the 2018 World Cup, which is when Donnarumma’s contract with the Rossoneri expires.

According to calciomercato.com, the 17-year-old’s priority is to renew at San Siro, with a contract worth €2m per season agreed with Adriano Galliani and ready to be signed on his 18th birthday in February.

However, his agent Mino Raiola is aware of outside interest, and will play hardball with the incoming owners, Sino-Europe Sports.

Incoming CEO Marco Fassone will therefore have to try and tie Donnarumma down as soon as possible, to prevent him leaving for Juventus or elsewhere.
