The 19-year-old Ivorian is nicknamed the ‘New Yaya Toure’ and has already attracted interest from all over Europe.

 “I am staying here at least until June and in January I’ll be focused on helping the Ivory Coast win the Africa Cup of Nations,” he told L’Eco di Bergamo newspaper.

“Playing in Italy is the best for a young player, because here you learn things that nobody teaches you in the other leagues. That all remains in your football locker for the rest of your career.”

Atalanta are currently joint fourth in the Serie A standings and host Roma tomorrow afternoon.

“We must continue working without pause to make our mark and if possible improve even more. Sassuolo qualified for Europe, so why can’t we?

“If Atalanta play the way we have been recently, then we can fight it out with anyone.”
