Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici reportedly travelled to Germany to scout Mahmoud Dahoud last night.

The director was in Seville with the Bianconeri squad and staff for Tuesday’s 3-1 win, which sent the Old Lady to the top of the group.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Paratici went to the airport far earlier than the rest of the travelling party, because he was not returning to Italy.

Instead, the sporting director attended Borussia Monchengladbach’s match with Manchester City, in order to have a look at Mahoud.

The midfielder’s contract expires in June of 2018, meaning he could be available relatively cheaply in the summer.

However, the newspaper notes that Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are likely to provide competition for the German Under-21 international, who was born in Syria.
