Lazio are ready to offer their Captain Lucas Biglia a record contract extension, reports say.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, President Claudio Lotito will offer a deal worth almost €3m per season, quashing rumours that the Argentinian may join up with former boss Stefano Pioli at Inter.
The 30-year-old will meet with club officials after the Rome derby on December 4th to discuss terms, with his current deal due to expire in 2018.
The contract will reportedly offer €2.5m per season with €500,000 in appearance-related bonuses.
Biglia is highly-rated by Coach Simone Inzaghi, and the club are keen to tie down their talisman.
The defensive midfielder joined Lazio in 2013 from Anderlecht, and made 26 starting appearances for the club last season. During this time, he notched up a tally of four goals and three assists for the Biancocelesti.
