Speaking at a Press conference for the club’s junior members, Dybala also reflected on his upbringing in Argentina, how he dedicated every goal he scored to his father, the facets of his game that he felt needed improving and his best friend at Juve.

“As a child, I started playing football at two-three years of age with my brothers, drawing a goal on the wall of our house,” he reminisced.

“When our parents found out, they wanted to kill us! I always played as a forward, I started on the left and then moved up front, also as a trequartista.

“The first thing I think about after scoring a goal is my dad. I dedicate all my goals to him.

“What should I improve on? My right foot because it’s not as good as my left and also my physical strength a little more. I started work on it here at Juve, in Argentina and at Palermo, I only did a bit.

“This is a good group, I’m very friendly with Higuain. We’re Argentine, we live near to each other and we spend a lot of time together.

“My idol? I had two: one was Del Piero and the other was Pirlo.

“I often spend time on penalties after training. Sometimes they’re key to unlocking maybe a close game.”
