Both Juan Jesus and midfielder Radja Nainggolan have taken to social media to speak out over racism towards teammate Antonio Rudiger.

The comments are in response to an incident after the Rome derby, when Lazio defender Senad Lulic made racist remarks towards his opponent.

Lulic could reportedly face a lengthy ban from the FIGC over his comments, with an annoucement expected on Tuesday.

"In 2016, unacceptable things can still happen," Jesus wrote on his Instagram account "but that's their problem if they have such thoughts.

"These people are without brains, without a heart, and I do not know if I can even call them people."

"You @toniruediger have proven to be great on the pitch and not small-minded like they are. Always together brother!!! #notoracism."

The sentiment was echoed by Nainggolan on his personal instagram account.

"No to racism. Certain people need to learn the meaning of these three words."
