Milan’s top targets for the January transfer window are Milan Badelj and Alejandro Gomez, according to reports.

The Rossoneri are just four points off the top of Serie A, an achievement made all the more impressive by the fact they didn’t invest much in the summer.

While the takeover by Chinese consortium Sino-Europe Sports looks set to be delayed, an expected deposit of €100m could give room for manoeuvre in January.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Coach Vincenzo Montella has asked specifically for Badelj and Gomez.

The former was a summer target, and his agent is working on a deal, but it’s thought that Fiorentina would still demand several million Euros.

As for Gomez, he has become a target due to his impressive showings for Atalanta so far, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
