How is Vecino progressing after suffering with problems from injury earlier this term?

"I'm fine now, but it took a bit of time," the Uruguayan told Corriere dello Sport. "I had an injury early in the season, and when I was about to return the scar got inflamed, but now everything is sorted.

"My national team? I immediately had the chance to start with them, there is less competition, but it’s also a way of playing different than we do at Fiorentina.

"The basis of our group in Florence is having respect for the Coach and for our teammates, everyone must push the team forward from where we are now.

"We are too inconsistent, even in the same game. We must learn to suffer.

"The support of the fans? It is crucial, we must return to winning ways at home like we did a year ago. If we do that, everything can change.

"It is better to reach the final of the Europa League than to finish fourth in Serie A.

"My dream has always been to play in England, but I do not know if I'll be here until I’m 30 or 35, or if I’ll go to play there tomorrow."
