Arkadiusz Milik’s surgeon confirms the Napoli striker can return to action “in a month”.
The Polish international has been out since October with a cruciate ligament injury, but said this week that he aims to return to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Today he paid a visit to professor Pier Paolo Mariani at Villa Stuart in Rome to check on his progress.
“In a month I’ll give Milik the go-ahead to return to competitive activity,” Mariani told reporters outside the clinic.
“Will he be back for the Real Madrid game? I’m optimistic.”
Milik had scored seven goals in nine games before his injury, which was sustained on international duty.
