The Venezuela international is set to join on a €2m loan from Genoa, with an option to make the move permanent in the summer.

This morning the midfielder underwent a medical at the Bianconeri’s J-Medical centre, and he has since been pictured leaving the facility.

"Tomas Eduardo Rincón took a significant step towards becoming a Juventus player on Thursday, the Venezuelan successfully completing a medical ahead of his proposed transfer from Genoa," a statement on the club's offical website confirmed.

"Checking in at the club's J|Medical facility shortly after 09.00 CET, the 29 year old was rigorously put through his paces before being officially signed off in the middle of the afternoon."

However, TuttoJuve is reporting that the transfer will not be officially announced today, but will be made official in the coming days.

The Old Lady cannot officially deposit Rincón’s contract with the Lega Serie A until the transfer window opens on January 1, so it’s likely that the club will confirm his signing then.
