Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has rubbished rumours linking him with Juventus as ‘just speculation’.

The 21-year-old arrived in summer 2015 from Genk, and has been attracting attention with his much improved performances this term.

After scoring just one goal for the club last season, the Spanish-born player already has three goals and three assists in 14 starts in the current campaign.

"In 2017 I would like to qualify for the Champions League with Lazio at all costs," the youngster told Sky Sport Italia.

"And to win the European U-21 Championships with Serbia in Poland.

"My growth is evident but I'm still young and can make mistakes. I love Serie A, I prefer it to La Liga and want to stay.

"Links with Juventus? Just speculations. When I was young I was crazy about Raul, today [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic is my favourite footballer. His Coach [Jose] Mourinho is the best manager in the world. He's intelligent and simply great."
