But what does Prandelli think about Mario Balotelli, does he regret believing in him?

"I do not know if he gave me less than I gave him, but if you believe in someone or something, you have to insist.

"This year, Mario still has a chance to be what everyone thinks he is. It depends on him.

"Maybe up until now, football was not his priority. He has technique, power, goals, vision of the game.

"However it takes motivation, desire to improve, all the sacrifices, every single day.  I would do what I did back then all over again today."

What about Claudio Ranieri's season at Leicester last year?

"Leicester? They are a club that will go down in history. [Claudio] Ranieri took on a team that could have been relegated and he won simply with his humanity, without ever causing irritation with his ideas.

"He was loved the by players. I always will vote for Ranieri. Our Italian school of football is not too bad.

Is Prandelli is ready to return to the bench?

"I am determined, have adrenaline, and am motivated, but did not leave Valencia to go to another team.

"Let me just think about two ideas and we'll talk soon. I don’t have retirement in mind."
