“(Fiorentina director Pantaleo) Corvino has never contacted me for Simone,” Zaza’s father and representative told Juvenews.eu.

“In general no Italian clubs have approached him. The only genuine contact we’ve had is with Valencia, who showed great interest.”

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Evra is considering his options and would prefer Valencia to West Ham United, but is waiting for Manchester United to come forward with a firm proposal.

He hasn’t ruled out the possibility of staying at Juventus until the end of the season, but Valencia currently seem the most likely destination.
