Juventus reportedly met with Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio’s agent today, confirming rumours of a summer bid.
Bianconeri director Beppe Marotta was spotted talking to De Sciglio’s representatives in Milan, claim Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.it.
The 24-year-old is only under contract until June 2018 and Milan seem to be in no particular hurry to discuss an extension.
De Sciglio was effectively launched by Massimiliano Allegri at San Siro and the Coach would relish the opportunity to work with him again.
The Italy international is a valuable asset tactically because he can play on the right or left of a four-man defence or a five-man midfield.
He already has 30 senior caps for Italy despite numerous injury problems in recent years.
Juve are already working on the future of their defence, having signed Mattia Caldara from Atalanta today.
Caldara will remain in Bergamo on loan until June 2018, but has been bought for €15m plus up to €10m in various bonuses and add-ons.
