Genoa have officially signed goalkeeper Rubinho after Mattia Perin underwent knee surgery.
The 34-year-old returns to Marassi, where he made 95 appearances between 2006 and 2009.
He had most recently been at Juventus and Lega Pro side Como.
Today Genoa announced that Rubinho has signed on for a second stint and will wear shirt number 83.
He is effectively the new second choice goalkeeper, as Eugenio Lamanna takes over the gloves.
