Udinese have officially signed striker Kevin Lasagna from Carpi, but he will remain in Serie B until the end of the season.
This deal had been in the works for a few days after the Friulani beat competition from Sampdoria.
It’s believed to be worth €4.5m plus performance-related bonuses.
The 24-year-old has impressed this term with nine goals in 21 Serie B outings.
Last season he had five top flight goals and three assists, most of them when coming off the bench.
Carpi will continue to play Lasagna on loan until the end of the season.
