Marco Giampaolo says his Sampdoria side were 'missing something' in the goalless draw with Empoli.

"We managed to do a lot of things well," Giampaolo said. "We played against a team who knows how to manage the game.
"In the defensive area, Empoli have ideas.
"Both teams played the match trying to do the same things. It was a very tactical and even game.

Giampaolo was then asked whether Samp were lacking goals.
"Samp, in 20 matches, have scored 17 times and that is not bad."
