Reports in Chile suggest Juventus are determined to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, forming a trio with Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.

It certainly is not the first time that the Bianconeri have been linked with 28-year-old Alexis, who was their target when he was still at Udinese and then as he left Barcelona in 2014.

He is refusing to sign a new contract with the Gunners, which expires in June 2018, and has seemed increasingly frustrated at the lack of silverware.

According to SoyChile, Juventus are laying the groundwork for a summer swoop that would create the trident attack of Sanchez, Dybala and Higuain.

The Turin giants are making it clear they want the Champions League and to construct a trio to match Barcelona’s MSN – Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain and clubs in China are also interested, but Alexis wants to challenge for European trophies.

The price-tag is in the region of €60m, considerably less than Juventus paid for Higuain a year ago.
