Donadoni: 'Bologna changes at Inter'

Roberto Donadoni admits he is “forced into some changes” as Bologna visit Inter for the Coppa Italia tomorrow.

The Round of 16 tie kicks off at San Siro at 20.00 GMT and the winners go on to face Lazio or Genoa.

“We have some issues because of injuries that are not helping, so we’re forced into some changes to have fresh legs and will try to make the most of it,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“In central defence, for example, I only have Domenico Maietta and Marios Oikonomou. Simone Verdi is recovering well after his surgery and I think he’ll be ready to play in a couple of weeks.”

Bologna are fresh from their Serie A victory away to Crotone on Saturday, which put them comfortably mid-table.

“We can’t talk about guaranteed safety yet, but in any case I’d like us to look forward and aim at improving on last season. I want to get the best out of this squad and to do that I need everyone to be working in the same direction, including the fans and media.”

Bologna squad for Inter: Da Costa, Mirante, Sarr; Bianconi, Brignani, Krafth, Maietta, Masina, Mbaye, Oikonomou; Donsah, Dzemaili, Frabotta, Nagy, Pulgar, Rizzo, Viviani; Destro, Di Francesco, Floccari, Krejci, Mounier, Okwonkwo
