How will his brother approach the game?

"Knowing Simone, he will go there and he will play," the Venezia Coach told Gazzetta dello Sport. "It is the right thing to do: to lose away from home against Juventus is normal.

"At their Stadium it always starts 1-0 thanks to the great environment. It will take a miracle, but Lazio can do it. So far they have had an extraordinary season. It will be a game to enjoy."

The Bianconeri were defeated by Fiorentina on Sunday evening, and the home side started on the front foot. Is it true that Max Allegri's side don't like being attacked?

"If only it were that simple. Juve have lost four times away from home, but then they have always responded well. They will have no problem winning the league title because they have many champions and excellent professionals.

"I have a friendship with Andrea Agnelli, we sent each other a Christmas card. Andrea has a great enthusiasm, the company plans every move well and is always moving forward as evidenced by the presentation of the new logo.

"I know Andrea hopes to realise his dream of the Champions League. I'll hope they have the potential to win in Europe, although it is not easy.

"There is also Fabio Guidi at Juve, he’s my best childhood friend. He is always behind the scenes but gives a key added value because he’s a football connoisseur.

"Juventus are always ahead: with [Daniele] Rugani, [Mattia] Caldara and they are already working on future replacement of the super-human defence that is no longer young.

"The Bianconeri will be looking for success after losing in Florence. But Lazio will play quietly, they have nothing to lose and this is a great advantage."

The 43-year-old played in black and white between 1997 and 2001. Is it true he still has a house there?

"Of course, in Piazza Castello. Footballers often rent it. [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic lived there, and now [Afriyie] Acquah is living there."
