Fiorentina have agreed terms with Empoli for Riccardo Saponara, on loan with obligation to buy, claim Sky Sport Italia.

According to transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, the Viola sealed the deal with their Tuscan neighbours in a lightning fast process.

It is believed to be an 18-month loan with obligation to buy for a total of around €10m.

However, Milan are owed 30 per cent of the fee thanks to a sell-on clause when they handed Saponara to Empoli in 2015.

It means the Rossoneri would pocket €3m from this move.
