Lucas Torreira “received interest from Roma, Sevilla and Milan,” so will likely be leaving Sampdoria, revealed his agent.

The Uruguayan midfielder turns 21 this weekend and has made 22 appearances for Samp this term between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

“Lucas is a strong player and received interest from many clubs like Roma, Sevilla and Milan,” agent Pablo Bentancur told Tuttomercatoweb.

“Lucas is a strong player and received interest from many clubs like Roma, Sevilla and Milan,” agent Pablo Bentancur told Tuttomercatoweb.

“I heard that Samp consider the lad to be important, but they need to adjust his contract accordingly. We had meetings with the directors, but have received no written proposal.

“It is not normal to ask for €15m on the market from someone who earns €100,000 per year. However, we are on the right track to resolve the situation and are waiting for the Sampdoria proposal.

“Could he leave in June? I think so, yes. It will be important to leave a door open for his sale, as he is ready for the step up to a big club.”
