Milan still hold out hope of signing English midfielder Jack Wilshere in the summer, according to reports.

The Rossoneri were interested in the 25-year-old's services last summer, but the Arsenal man eventually opted to join fellow Premier League side Bournemouth on a season-long loan.

However, English newspaper The Daily Telegraph report that the San Siro club may still get their man, with Wilshere yet to be tied down to a long-term contract.

However, English newspaper The Daily Telegraph report that the San Siro club may still get their man, with Wilshere yet to be tied down to a long-term contract.

The Cherries are said to be unlikely to make the England international's loan deal permanent, while as of the summer he will have just one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates.

With Arsenal reported to have no plans to renew terms with Wilshere, he may be forced to look for a new club. This could put Milan on red alert, although they would probably have to pay a fee in excess of 20 to stand a chance of securing his signature.
