It was all square in the Inzaghi brothers derby, as stunning Ciro Immobile and Pasquale Schiattarella volleys saw Benevento and Lazio share the spoils.
Fiorentina ended their dismal streak with a point, as Dusan Vlahovic’s penalty cancelled out the Hamed Junior Traore opener, and both sides hit the woodwork.
Milan again were forced to fight back for a 2-2 draw against relegation candidates Genoa, as Pierre Kalulu cancelled out the Mattia Destro double.
Inter got the three points thanks to a Romelu Lukaku penalty, but Napoli largely dominated the game even when down to 10 men after Lorenzo Insigne saw red for dissent.
Federico Chiesa and Remo Freuler scored spectacular goals, but the Juventus and Atalanta goalkeepers dominated this 1-1 draw, especially Pierluigi Gollini for saving Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty.
Parma and Cagliari shared the spoils at the Stadio Tardini, although the hosts will rue their wasted opportunities.
Roma have caught Juventus in third place with their third straight victory, but Torino had Wilfried Singo sent off after just 14 minutes.
It was an astonishing game at the Stadio Picco, as Spezia wasted a 2-0 lead and then Bologna could’ve won it in stoppages, but Musa Barrow’s penalty was saved.
Udinese tried to win the game, but Crotone seemed content with a point and Rodrigo De Paul’s knee problem hampered progress.
Verona tried to fight back, but Sampdoria struck twice with classic counter-attacks to earn a surprise 2-1 away victory.
