Milan star Rafael Leao opened the scoring in a seven-goal thriller between Portugal and Sweden in an international friendly in Guimarães on Thursday night.

The Rossoneri forward pounced after Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva struck the post just after the half-hour mark in Portugal. Leao took a touch to set himself, before bending an effort up and over former Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen and into the top corner.

Leao’s strike was the Portugal’s first of five, as the two sides played out an entertaining 5-2.

There were plenty of Serie A representatives on show between Portugal and Sweden, including Leao and Roma’s Rui Patricio.

In the Swedish line-up, there was room for Atalanta duo Emil Holm and Isak Hien, as well as Napoli midfielder Jens Cajuste and former Juventus forward Dejan Kulusevski.

The Sweden team were also led out by former Milan striker Jon Dahl Tomasson for the first time since his appointment as head coach of his national side.
