Inter are ready to welcome Mehdi Taremi in the summer and they’ve also started targeting Napoli striker Giacomo Raspadori, reports detail.

The Nerazzurri are gearing up for a busy 2024-25 season, competing on multiple fronts including Serie A, the Champions League and the revamped Club World Cup. As such, they’re looking to bolster the squad with cover across the pitch.

Inter have already set up a deal with Taremi, ready to welcome the Iranian forward on a free transfer in the summer, and they’re also looking around for another option to strengthen Simone Inzaghi’s frontline, with the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Marko Arnautovic shrouded in doubt.

Corriere dello Sport via TMW details how Inter are interested in picking up Raspadori from Napoli in the summer, believing his tactical flexibility could prove invaluable for Inzaghi’s two-striker system.

After winning the Scudetto last season, the 24-year-old Italian striker has struggled to put together a convincing campaign this term, managing just five goals and three assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

Raspadori is contracted to Napoli to June 2028 and is expected to cost at least €30-40m in the coming summer transfer window.
