Italian agent Roberto De Fanti feels Giorgio Scalvini and Alessandro Buongiorno are suitable for the Premier League and would not be surprised if Roberto De Zerbi stays at Brighton for one more season.

De Fanti, owner of agency RDF Football, spoke to TMW during the ‘TransferRoom’ event held in Rome this week. De Fanti mainly operates in England, so he was asked about possible deals between Serie A and Premier League clubs at the end of the season.

De Fanti said that Torino and Atalanta stars Buongiorno and Scalvini could be two of the next Serie A players moving to England.

“Not many mention them, but they are on a high level. They are young and with excellent physicality,” said De Fanti.

Scalvini has recently been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Man City.

“English clubs look to Italian defenders with great interest, so they are two players who may attract more interest in England than attacking players,” continued the Italian agent.

Talking about strikers, Napoli star Victor Osimhen is surely one of those tipped to move to the UK in the summer, and De Fanti feels the Nigerian striker would be ideal for Manchester United.

“They are still looking for a striker. Hojlund is doing fairly well, but Osimhen could be the classic No.9, somebody similar to Haaland.”

De Fanti also spoke about Roberto De Zerbi’s future and what he expects from the Italian tactician, who has been linked with several top sides, including Liverpool and Bayern Munich.

“He is doing very well at Brighton, not only technically, but he is also developing players born in 2004 and 2005. A return to Italy is unthinkable. He has courage and ideas, which we don’t have in Italy. Liverpool and other clubs may be interested, especially because De Zerbi is still young. I would not be surprised if he decided to stay another year or coach a team that is not among the top.”
