Coach Maurizio Sarri
Maurizio Sarri excelled during his debut Serie A season with Empoli, leading the newly-promoted Tuscan side to an impressive 15th-place finish and got the best out of the likes of Daniele Rugani and Mirko Valdifiori. Despite only recently debuting in the top flight, Sarri has in fact been coaching in the lower leagues since 1990. His first campaign on the Napoli bench boosted comparisons with Arrigo Sacchi, as he harnessed the remarkable firepower of the team for spectacular football and broke several club records. A fan favourite, Sarri uses drones during training and when sent off for dissent - which happens a lot - he can be found smoking a sneaky cigarette in the stands.
