According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have resumed talks to sign Serhou Guirassy in the summer, but the 28-year-old is waiting for an offer from the Premier League.

Milan have resumed interest in Stuttgart striker Guirassy and are once again in talks with his entourage, according to Wednesday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport’s on page 17.

Guirassy has a €17m clause and had already been linked with a move to the Stadio Meazza during the January transfer window, but the Rossoneri eventually decided against signing a new centre forward.

However, with Olivier Giroud expected to join LAFC in the summer, Milan will necessarily need a new striker in 2024-25.

Guirassy has scored 27 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions this season, and his relatively low price tag makes him a concrete transfer target for Milan for next season.

However, the 28-year-old has prioritised a move to the Premier League, so if any of the top six or seven English clubs call his agents, Guirassy would probably fly to the UK, according to Gazzetta.

Corriere dello Sport confirms the Guinea international is once again considered as a possible reinforcement by the Rossoneri given that their priority target, Joshua Zirkzee, will cost more than €50m.
