The latest reports in Italy claim Arsenal are ready to offer Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee a €6m-a-year contract, but Inter, Milan, Aston Villa, and Manchester United are also in the race.

Arsenal are in talks with Zirkzee’s agent Kia Joorabchian and are ready to offer the Dutch striker a €6m-a-year contract until 2029 according to Wednesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper on page 20.

The report claims Arsenal have put the 22-year-old on top of their transfer wish list for the summer and are eager to send an offer to Bologna in the coming weeks.

Inter emerge for Zirkzee as Arsenal’s offer revealed

Several European clubs, including Milan, Aston Villa and Manchester United, have set their sights on the exciting centre forward. According to Tuttosport, these three clubs have scouted Zirkzee several times this season.

As per Gazzetta, fresh Serie A champions Inter have also joined the race to sign Zirkzee, but the Nerazzurri must choose between him and Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson.

Zirkzee has scored 11 goals in 31 Serie A appearances with Bologna this season. Bayern Munich have an option to re-sign him for €40m in the summer.
