Cristian Zaccardo is looking for the three points against Milan even though he knows how difficult that mountain will be to climb.

The two teams meet on Saturday in Serie A and the 2006 World Cup winner is hoping to spring a surprise.

“Milan are favourites for the title and they have enormous potential,” the defender commented. “It will be a hard game for us and they are in form right now.

“We are playing at home and that will be a bonus as we are performing better at the Stadio Tardini than on the road.

“We have a good margin between us and the team below us in the table, but the sooner we get the points for safety the better. Therefore we’ll look to beat Milan.”

Parma are hovering just above the relegation zone and are six points clear of a rejuvenated Lecce side. However, they’ll have to keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Co quiet.

“You have to try to anticipate him and you can’t allow him to see sight of goal otherwise he’ll invent something to score,” Zaccardo continued.

“Ibra is practically winning games on his own, Antonio Nocerino is scoring with his every touch and Thiago Silva is the best defender in Europe. It will be tough.”
