Line-ups: Super Cup surprises

Milan go with Kevin-Prince Boateng, Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while Inter field Dejan Stankovic, Wesley Sneijder and Samuel Eto'o in the Italian Super Cup.

The two San Siro giants go head to head at the Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing, kick-off 13.00 UK time, for the first official trophy of the Serie A season.

Massimiliano Allegri has to do without the injured Philippe Mexes, Stephen El Shaarawy and suspended Taye Taiwo, who has to sit out a ban left over from Olympique Marseille.

He has chosen to leave Antonio Cassano, Alexandre Pato and captain Massimo Ambrosini on the bench.

Ignazio Abate has recovered from a flu virus to start in defence with Gianluca Zambrotta the other full-back.

Boateng got the nod as trequartista behind Ibrahimovic and Robinho.

Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini has made some tactical changes for this match, fielding a 3-5-1-1 system.

Sneijder starts in a more advanced role than he has been practising pre-season, supporting lone striker Eto'o.

Stankovic was not expected to feature at all when he skipped training for several days due to a knee injury, but he is surprisingly in the starting XI.

Ricky Alvarez and youngster Joel Obi complete the midfield with Thiago Motta and Javier Zanetti.

Inter's Copa America participants are on vacation except for Zanetti and Julio Cesar. They were recalled early when Yuto Nagatomo and Emiliano Viviano sustained injuries.
