Ranieri loses it over Pizarro

Roma boss Claudio Ranieri lost his temper when asked about David Pizarro on Sky Italia yesterday afternoon.

Pizarro has inexplicably lost his place in Roma's starting XI, although flu was given as the official explanation for his absence against Bari on Sunday.

Pressed for an answer as to why the Chilean playmaker is no longer a fixture in his side, Ranieri fumed: "Pizarro is not a problem. For you, yes, because you are always looking for an argument.

"You were much better when you did the analysis of the game.

"If you keep going like this, little by little no one will watch you anymore in Rome. I will stop people in the street and tell them."

Ranieri then simply said: "Time's up," and walked off.
