Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has revealed that his club will meet with Manchester City officials this week to discuss Carlos Tevez.
The Italian giants have agreed personal terms with the want-away striker, but their request to take him on a six-month loan – with an option to buy – has been rejected by the English club.
However, Galliani has now admitted that an imminent meeting with the Premiership giants has been pencilled in.
“We have an appointment with Manchester City on Thursday,” Galliani commented. “However, it probably won’t be the decisive one to conclude a deal.
“Right now I think it is almost impossible for us to take Tevez to our winter retreat in Dubai. Catania’s Maxi Lopez remains on stand-by.”
Whereas Milan initially only want the forward on loan, City want to sell outright which may favour Paris Saint-Germain.
However, there are reports that PSG sporting director Leonardo, an ex-Milan player and Coach, doesn’t want to interfere with the Rossoneri’s plans.
“I often hear from Leonardo,” Galliani continued. “I hope that he doesn’t want to act against us…”
