Di Matteo: 'Chelsea can beat Napoli'

Roberto Di Matteo confirms he will use Arsenal-Milan to “give us the belief we can turn it around as well” when Chelsea face Napoli.

The Gunners lost the first leg of their Champions League tie 4-0, but a 3-0 second leg win made it an extremely tight qualification process.

“That gives us the belief that we can turn it around as well,” said Di Matteo, who replaced Andre Villas-Boas last week.

“Wins bring you confidence and hopefully we can turn it around on Wednesday.”

Napoli won the first leg 3-1 and visit Stamford Bridge on a run of six consecutive victories in all competition.

Chelsea have also turned a corner since Di Matteo was appointed, reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals and beating 10-man Stoke 1-0 on Saturday.

“I think you could see they were all fighting for the team and for the result. I was happy with that.”
