Capello ignores Juventus talk

Fabio Capello has pledged his immediate future to England amid reported interest from former club Juventus.

The Bianconeri are said to be in crisis again after losing four of their seven games in 2011.

Gigi Del Neri's side suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Udinese on Sunday and slide to seventh place in Serie A.

Speaking to Gr Parlamento, Capello denied being contacted by Juventus President Andrea Agnelli.

"I have to think about my [job]," he said. "It's not like I made a great impression at the World Cup.

"I want to stay here until after the European Championship. I made a promise to a director of the FA."

Asked about Juventus' problems, Capello said: "When you attempt to rebuild a club it takes time.

"Juventus have lost many important players and this has penalised them. Sure some players who have been paid handsomely haven't given what was expected of them.

"It's an important year for Agnelli. It's a year of settling in. It will be an important experience for him. His recent comments seem important. Next year Juventus will start again.

"When there is a rebuilding process, it's better to bring in at least two good players a year. You need to sign players who make the difference and don't make up the numbers," he concluded.
